Postal Disruption in Canada
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has begun nationwide job action as of November 15, 2024. This will impact the delivery of payments by cheque.
If you receive your payments by cheque, switch to direct deposit to avoid delays in receiving your payment.
To request direct deposit, click the “Forms” line in the “Welcome” drop-down at the left of this page, then select “Direct Deposit” to download and print the form. We recommend that you take it to your Financial Institution and request they fax the completed form to us at 1-800-678-0760.

- Complete a direct deposit request form to have CIBC Mellon deposit your pension payments directly into a Canadian bank account or to make a change to your current banking information.

Q. How do I sign up for direct deposit?
A. Please refer to the direct deposit form on the left. Please submit an online enquiry and a member of our team will contact you to arrange receipt through secured channels.
Q. When will funds appear in my bank account if the payment date falls on a weekend or holiday?
A. Your payment is issued on the same payment date each month, but the actual date funds are deposited into your bank account can vary by institution. Please contact your financial institution to confirm the timing of direct deposits on non-business days.
