Brian Lee

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Brian is responsible for CIBC Mellon’s financial strategy including key finance functions and operations including financial reporting, planning and performance measurement. He also contributes to the corporate strategic planning process.

Brian has 30 years of experience in finance, including more than 22 years at CIBC where he most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Finance Operations, and prior to this was the Global Chief Audit Executive. In addition to Brian’s experience at CIBC, he served as CFO at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank, where he had responsibility for financial oversight, reporting, planning and treasury.

Before joining CIBC, Brian articled with the accounting firm Arthur Andersen. Brian holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and is a Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant.

He serves on the Board of Directors for Trafalgar Castle School and is the Chair of the Finance and Property Committee.
