Kelly Hastings is Chief Risk Officer at CIBC Mellon.

Kelly is responsible for overseeing CIBC Mellon’s enterprise risk management framework, which includes credit risk, market risk, operational risk and compliance. In this role, she also manages the corporate-wide policy framework and the organization’s relationships with its regulators.

Prior to joining CIBC Mellon in 2008, Kelly held a variety of senior credit and risk positions, with a primary focus on providing support for capital-markets-related businesses.

In addition to having over 25 years of industry experience, Kelly holds an honours bachelor of arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA from York University, and she completed the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
