Tedford Mason is Chief Legal Officer at CIBC Mellon.
Ted is responsible for the company’s corporate secretarial and legal functions. He joined CIBC Mellon at the company’s inception in 1996 having been with the related trust company since 1992, and his previous roles include senior counsel and deputy general counsel.
Prior to joining CIBC Mellon, Ted articled and practiced at Fraser & Beatty (now Denton’s) in the Banking and Finance group.
In addition to having over 25 years of experience in the legal profession, Ted holds a bachelor of business administration degree and a law degree from the University of New Brunswick.
